Dear Mr. Rome:
I had an appointment on Monday, November 20th for a 30,000 mile maintenance service to my 2004 Santa Fe. Chandra assisted me at the service desk and was so polite and efficient. I bumped the front end of my Santa Fe into something and my Gary Rome license plate was hanging by one piece of the plastic frame. I asked her if that could be replaced and she said, "yes." Not only did she say yes, I found it was actually done!
In the past I owned a 2001 Chevy Venture bought new and my dealership was then Chicopee Chevrolet. I had many bad experiences with their service crew who had my vehicle more than I did. Also, when they gave me a loaner the seats were so filthy (I think the service men user their two cars). I hated to sit on the seat with my good clothes. The gas tank was always on empty and my first stop was always at the first gas station I saw. I'm sure I was driving on fumes.
Gary Rome gave me a 2007 Sonata while my maintenance was being done yesterday. I was astounded to see the gas tank on FULL and the car was IMMACULATE! I can't thank you enough for providing such excellent service and really caring what your customers drive away in while their vehicles are being serviced. I felt I was in a safe car and WOW how nice it was to drive a 2007 Sonata in 2006!
Also, let me say that Donna was very polite and friendly as I paid my bill. She even wished me a Happy Thanksgiving! In the majority of businesses I find that most people don't even greet you, don't smile and sometimes are down right rude. When you leave their establishment you start to wonder why you shopped there and if you will again.
As I left the service area and went outside I couldn't seem to quickly locate my vehicle. Bobby (I specifically asked him his name because he was so helpful) asked me if he could assist me and I told him I was searching for my car. I had my keys in my hand and he asked me for them, pushed the alarm button and there was my car in the back row right in front of me. I know it was a small gesture, but I left your company really liking the way you run your business and the people you hire. I felt happy spending $361.50 because of the kindness of your employees. They made my day!
That's the reason for this letter. Keep up the good work and give Buddy a pat on the head from me.

Last Monday I found myself on the western side of the state on a brief vacation trip, when my ventilator system died in the 90+ degree heat. A quick call to Hyundai assistance gave me Gary Rome's address and I came in as quickly as possible. Your service staff not only took me in without an appointment but set a technician to looking at the problem immediately. An hour later, I was on my way with a new blower switch installed and an invoice for $0.
I almost hesitate to name any one individual because everyone at your facility was so responsive, but the service advisor of record was Carlos Rivera.
I can see why your dealership has been recognized for outstanding customer service. Thanks for the experience.

Thank you so much for fixing my mothers problem with her stereo system in her XG350L. ( Barbara Pomeroy ) She bought her car thre in 2002 and tried to have Haddad service this problem but they were of no help.
Myself a friend and my mother have all had bad expierances at Haddad and despite the distance to drive to Gary Rome I will do so for service in the future. I had the 15,000 mile check done at Haddad and I even doubt if they changed the oil as it is just as dark as when it went in
I will be booking an appointment in the fall with Gary Rome for service.
Once again thank you all for treating my mother with respect and again it was a pleasure visiting Gary Rome.
I also have a 2005 XG350L and recieved the information on the buy back offer and may stop in to drive the Azera, but not sure I really like the body style.

I am extremely happy to be a part of the Gary Rome Hyundai Family!!
I have always dreaded going shopping for a car because as a rule the salesperson will follow you from the minute you get out of your car until you leave. Not so with your car dealership.
I had my son with me, he was up here from Arizona, and since my husband passed away tow months ago....I wanted someone with me. Guess I was always under the impression that a woman alone would be taken advantage of. Also not the case with my "new family".
From the moment Lynda greeted us she was wonderful. She asked what we were looking for so we told her and she pointed us to the cars that were in our price range and the kind of car we had in mind. Then she stepped back and let us look, no breathing down our necks or "high pressure" sales pitch. She was there to answer our questions and once we found the one that we wanted to "test drive" she was having other cars moved in order to get this one. We test drove it....first I drove it then we switched drivers so my son could try it. The car was extremely clean,not many miles on it,and most important within my price range.
Then after we were done trying the car we went to Lynda's office to talk more about it and that too was wonderful,non-stressfull thing. Just one more thing that we admired about Lynda and your dealership. My son, was checking all the financial things about the car (he is a CPA) and wanted to be sure that we could fit it into my budget. Being a recent widow he wanted to be sure that I would be okay with car payments in my budget. He could not say enough about Lynda because he has had some bad experiences with buying cars because of the "high pressure" selling a car.
He said that one time he got into the salespersons office,the door was shut and the "pressure was on". Not so at Gary Rome....no pressure. We made "our own" decision, and a lot of that was based on Lynda, your dealership and recommendations from people like Anne and John Rachmaciej who purchased an 2004 Elantra from you last year. They had an influence on my purchasing a car from you.
After we left your place we came home to figure out everything. My son was leaving the next day so he had to have it all figured out. When he finally figured out that I would be okay with the car payments I called Lynda and had gave her a deposit on the car with my charge card. I wanted to be sure when I went in at 3:00 that day that the car would still be there. We were told why it had been returned, which probably was responsible for the low mileage on it. We appreciated your honesty more than you can ever know. I was so excited that day but also a little emotional. In fact the night we were there looking I was emotional then too.
It has only been a little over two months since my husband passed away and it really does not take much for my sadness to emerge. In fact I am probably the only person buying a car who spent a lot of time crying. Everyone was so caring about that too and while I waited to sign for the car everyone is the showcase would ask me if I was okay. They said "you are in our family now and WE CARE"!!!! I know they were sincere.
I brought my 1992 Buick LeSabre in and was offered a fair price trade in. Now back to my new car.....it is fantastic!!!!! I am still learning more and more features that it has and when someone comes over to look at it I find myself showing those features to them like I was a car salesperson.
I am extremely happy that I chose the car I did. I am so happy with the way you have not just forgotten about me since the purchase. Your kind letter "welcoming me" to your family, the wonderful gift basket, and just knowing that you are TOPS in my book for being the most honest,non pressuring car dealership ever.
If I ever needed another car I would definitely come to you...."my family" for it. Also I am more than happy to recommend you to EVERYONE who is looking for a car. I could write a book on all that you mean to me as my "new family" and I look forward to talking to you when I go there for any service that I have.

I purchase your cars for my kids because I know they can drive them to death and Hyundai will take care of them. My older girl had her Accent all through high school, and all through 4 years of college. After going to work on her new job she purchased another Accent because she knew she could trust the brand. I have now purchased an Elantra for my baby girl who is in the 10th grade and I have no worries that the car will last her until the end.

I recently was at Gary Rome to have my car serviced and everyime I come to you I leave happy. I bought my car about 2 and a half years ago and the sales man still knows me by name. I also must acknowledge the service department Rick and his crew are very friendly out going and helpfull. It nice to walk into a service place and know that i won't be treated like a dumb female I have always been given nothing but, respect from the service team.

Thanks for checking in. Melanie loves her new Santa Fe. She washed it today for the first time. (She even bought a new chamois to dry it off). So far, she has only let me drive it once. We are both very happy with the vehicle and our experience with the people at Gary Rome. If Melanie keeps running around showing it off, we will be seeing you soon because she will need an oil change.
